Serving those who serve
The SE Michigan Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) is a 501.c.3 organization that connects current and former commissioned officers of the uniformed services and their families across the Detroit metro area. We advocate for veterans' hard-earned benefits, honor their service, and support our community.
Founded on love of country and pride in the uniformed services, we seek to become a leading military service organization in the Detroit metro region.
What we do
Advocacy
Fighting for the earned benefits of veterans of the uniformed services, their families, and their surviving spouses.
Volunteer
Serving at the DTW Freedom Center military lounges, the Veterans Home in Chesterfield, and Wreaths Across America.
Community
Quarterly meetings, a regular newsletter, ROTC/JROTC recognition at 12 area schools, and access to a network of 360,000+ MOAA members nationwide.
Scholarships
Awarding scholarships to deserving students with ties to the uniformed services community in southeast Michigan.
