University of Michigan U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary University Program

The US Coast Guard Auxiliary University Program (AUP) develops university students for future professional, operational, and leadership success in their careers, with a strong emphasis on service in the Auxiliary, in applying to active duty or reserve service, or success in related professional fields. Based on traditions of the sea, the AUP strives for operational proficiency by focusing on seamanship and maritime leadership.  CLICK HERE to learn more about the University of Michigan AUP.

Unlike ROTC programs, the USCG AUP does not provide scholarships, and students participating in the program are responsible for providing their own uniforms, boots, and foul weather gear (a must during Michigan winters). You can help - CLICK HERE to donate to the University of Michigan AUP.
